A charming whisper of the Art Deco age, this dainty circa 1930s sterling silver ribbon style brooch captures the era’s love of glamour and sculptural elegance in a beautifully petite format.
Expertly formed in a looping bow-and-curl silhouette, the brooch is plated in cool rhodium to preserve its silvery brightness — a hallmark finish of fine Deco jewellery. Its surfaces are meticulously adorned with tiny, domed beaded accents, thoughtfully arranged to imitate the twinkling texture of marcasite gemstones, which were wildly fashionable during the Jazz Age for their smoky metallic sparkle.
Despite its smaller scale, the design carries a wonderful sense of movement — the ribbon folds upon itself, tapering into neat pointed ends, as though caught mid-flutter by a sudden breeze.
Easy to wear, yet undeniably evocative, it reflects the Deco ethos: elegance shaped by geometry and light.
Measurements : The brooch measures 4.1cm x 2.5cm and weight of 6grams.
