Collection: Georgian (1714-1837)

The Georgian Era, which lasted more than 120 years, covered the reigns of four English Kings: King George I, King George II, King George III, and King George IV. Although the Georgian Era lasted a long time, jewelry did not progress as quickly compared to other historical periods.

Jewelry items during the Georgian Era were made of yellow gold and silver. Diamonds, pearls, sapphires, rubies, glass, paste, topaz, and garnet are the usual stones in Georgian jewelry.

One of the key themes in Georgian jewelry was the incorporation of natural components. Patterns inspired by nature like flowers, leaves, and vines were frequently seen in items. These patterns were not only aesthetically pleasing but also represented concepts of development, rejuvenation, and the flow of time, reflecting the Georgian society's interest in nature.
