A fabulous pair of Art Deco Revival Sterling Silver drop/dangle earrings, combining glossy jet-black Onyx with sparkling clear CZ gemstones in a wonderfully glamorous 1920s/30s-inspired design.

Each earring features a beautiful round checkerboard-faceted Black Onyx gemstone, framed by a sweeping question-mark / paisley-shaped motif graduating downwards and prong-set with rows of sparkling round cut clear CZ gemstones.

Suspended below is a gorgeous faceted Black Onyx briolette drop, giving the earrings fabulous movement and catching the light as they move. 

Finished with push-in post fittings.

Black Onyx was PERFECT for the Art Deco aesthetic! During the 1920s and 1930s, jewellers embraced dramatic contrasts of black and white — pairing Onyx with diamonds, rock crystal and other colourless stones to create the crisp geometric designs that became synonymous with the era.
