A fabulous piece of vintage Italian designer jewellery — and certainly not your traditional little Cross!

Created by renowned Italian jewellery house Unoaerre, this generously sized sterling silver pendant takes the classic cross and gives it a wonderfully bold, sculptural MODERNIST treatment. The four arms are elongated and slightly flared, with an organic textured finish that gives the silver an almost hand-worked appearance.

At the centre, a beautifully modelled rope-like knot twists and wraps around the Cross, adding wonderful depth and dimension to the design. Symbolically, the knot can be seen as representing connection, unity, eternity and an unbroken bond with faith — making this far more interesting than a conventional Cross pendant.

UNOAERRE is one of Italy's best-known historic jewellery houses, founded in Arezzo in 1926. The company became internationally recognised for combining traditional Italian goldsmithing with contemporary, highly wearable design.
