A magnificent and highly collectible Victorian Crown coin dating to 1890, struck during the reign of Queen Victoria and beautifully converted into a large statement pendant.
The coin features the crowned and veiled Jubilee portrait of Queen Victoria to one side, while the reverse displays the spectacular and iconic St George slaying the Dragon design by Benedetto Pistrucci — honestly my favourite part of this piece!
The original Crown was struck in .925 sterling silver and measures approximately 38.6mm in diameter, giving it a wonderfully substantial presence. It has been securely mounted within a sterling silver frame and finished with a generous sterling silver bail, ready to be worn on your favourite chain.
Dating to 1890, this beauty is now over 135 years old — a fabulous piece of genuine Victorian history transformed into wearable jewellery.
