A seriously cool piece of early-2000s Diesel — chunky, industrial and unmistakably Y2K!

This vintage unisex Diesel quartz wristwatch, model DZ-2053, features a fabulous brushed stainless-steel cushion-shaped case surrounding a softly rectangular silver-tone dial. Bold black hands and applied hour markers give it that clean, slightly futuristic aesthetic Diesel was so well known for during the Y2K era.

Finished with its black genuine leather Diesel strap and stainless-steel buckle, with the original branded case back showing the large Diesel “D” logo. The watch is marked 5 BAR / 165 feet water resistant.

CONDITION NOTE: The watch is in working condition but currently requires a new battery to be fitted.

These wonderfully chunky vintage Diesel watches have become increasingly collectible with the huge revival of Y2K fashion, with similar examples selling online from around R3,000 upwards depending on model and condition.
