A wonderfully characterful vintage handmade Israeli sterling silver brooch, featuring an organic asymmetrical form with a beautifully hand-hammered textured surface.

The centre is decorated with an applied stylised figural motif, giving the piece a wonderfully primitive, almost ancient-world Modernist character. The reverse is stamped “HAND MADE / JERUSALEM / STERLING / ISRAEL” and is cleverly fitted with both a brooch pin and pendant bail, allowing it to be worn either as a statement brooch or suspended from a chain.

A fabulous little piece of mid-century Israeli artisan jewellery — sculptural, unusual and full of handmade character.

Measurements :The brooch measures 4.3cm x 2.9cm and weight of 7.8 grams.
