Expertly hand-carved from pre-ban antique ivory, this beautifully sculpted figure stands upon a fitted wooden display base. Every detail has been lovingly executed—from the serene facial expression and elaborate coiffure to the softly cascading folds of her kimono that flow naturally around her feet.

Held gently across her chest is a finely carved uchiwa fan, an iconic symbol of refinement and grace in Japanese culture. The reverse reveals equally meticulous workmanship, with carefully carved hair, flowing sleeves, and elegant drapery demonstrating the remarkable skill of the artisan.
