A wonderfully sentimental survivor from the Victorian era, this antique sweetheart brooch was lovingly handcrafted from an authentic American silver coin dated 1858.
The coin has been carefully smoothed on one side and transformed into a beautiful personalised keepsake, featuring an exquisitely hand-engraved swallow in flight above the name "Janet". Delicate engraved foliage and radiant sunburst details surround the bird, creating a design filled with symbolism and Victorian romance.
