An exceptionally rare and utterly glamorous vintage 1940s Art Deco designer costume jewellery set by Hollywood Jewelry, comprising a dramatic rhinestone spray brooch and a perfectly matched statement necklace, still housed in its original, ornately moulded ivory-toned celluloid presentation box. This is the kind of find collectors dream about — and almost never encounter complete.
Both the brooch and necklace are rhodium-plated, giving them that crisp, icy silver tone prized in high-end Deco costume jewellery. They are lavishly set with brilliant Swarovski crystal rhinestones, expertly cut in round and elegant pear (teardrop) shapes.
The design is a classic Art Deco spray motif — fluid, architectural, and full of movement. Cascading, ribbon-like arms sweep outward and downward, each tipped with pear-cut crystals that dance and sparkle with every motion. The necklace culminates in a graceful articulated drop, while the brooch mirrors the same sculptural drama, making them a truly cohesive matched set rather than loosely related pieces.

Celluloid boxes were fragile by nature and often discarded or damaged over time, making surviving examples incredibly scarce. To find both jewellery pieces AND their original box together is nothing short of extraordinary. This turns the set into a quality time capsule from the 1940s.
