Ancient looking and absolutely gorgeous! This antique sterling silver pendant celebrates amber in its most beautifully organic form — irregular, earthy and completely individual.

At its centre is a substantial piece of naturally formed Baltic amber, left in an wonderfully freeform shape. Its rich cognac and burnt-honey colouring shifts beautifully with the light, revealing natural variations and inclusions within the amber. A simple sterling silver surround follows the contours of the piece, allowing the amber itself to remain the absolute star.

BALTIC AMBER is extraordinary because it isn't technically a gemstone at all, but fossilised tree resin formed tens of millions of years ago. Baltic amber is particularly prized and has been collected and traded across Europe since antiquity, travelling along the famous Amber Road from the Baltic region into the Mediterranean world.
