Behold—an amulet fit for a Pharaoh's neck or a modern-day adventurer channeling divine protection! This striking antique pendant is a radiant artifact from the Art Deco era, when the world fell under the spell of Egyptian Revival—a movement sparked by the 1922 discovery of King Tutankhamun's tomb. Suddenly, pyramids met Parisian chic, and ancient symbols were reborn in gold and enamel.
Crafted in warm brass and detailed with vibrant enamelwork, this pendant takes the form of the Eye of Horus, also known as Wadjet—an ancient symbol pulsing with power, protection, and celestial insight. The bold royal blue and crisp white enamel stripes mimic the markings of the sacred falcon god, Horus, son of Isis and Osiris. His eye, here adorned in electric baby blue and fiery orange, was said to be restored by Thoth after a cosmic battle with the god Set, making it a symbol of healing and restoration.
The Eye of Horus was believed to ward off evil spirits, bring health, and protect one’s soul in this world and the next. Enamel, a favorite of Art Deco artisans, brings it to life in true ancient-meets-modern style, glowing like the jewels of Cleopatra’s court under the desert sun.
Wear it and feel the ancient wind whisper secrets of the Nile.
