Up for grabs is this fabulous Vintage Pair of Solid 18ct Yellow Gold & Natural Pink Tourmaline Stud Earrings, each set with a generously sized oval-cut Tourmaline displaying the most magnificent deep raspberry / magenta-pink colour.

And JUST LOOK at them in the sunlight!!

The Tourmalines are beautifully faceted and secured within classic four-prong settings, allowing that intense saturated pink colour to absolutely come alive as the stones catch the light.
What I especially LOVE about these is the setting!!

Rather than a simple open claw mount, each Tourmaline rests within a beautifully made partially enclosed, curved 18ct yellow gold setting which wraps beneath the lower portion of the gemstone.

Viewed from the side, the rich yellow gold forms an almost little cradle around each stone — such a fabulous detail and one that gives these studs a wonderfully substantial vintage feel.

Pink Tourmaline is one of the most desirable colours within the Tourmaline family, with the richer raspberry, hot-pink and magenta shades being particularly striking.

Tourmaline is also one of the traditional October birthstones and has long been associated with love, creativity, compassion and emotional balance.
