At the heart of this piece are the extraordinary :Nguni egg" resin stones — each individually faceted and infused with swirling patterns that echo the beloved hides of the indigenous Nguni cattle of Southern Africa. With their rich mix of earthy blacks, creams, browns, and ochres, these resin "stones" mimic nature’s own palette, resembling ancient river agates or wild animal prints frozen in time.
