A ring that feels as if it carries the calm of the sea within its heart. This elegant piece is crafted in 14ct white gold, its sleek metal glowing with a cool, silvery sheen. The design follows a graceful bypass style, where the shoulders of the band sweep upward in a flowing curve, meeting the gemstone at the top and bottom like waves embracing a precious jewel.
At the center rests a mesmerizing oval-cut aquamarine, weighing approximately 0.91ct. The gem is securely cradled in a four-prong setting, its facets cut to maximize brilliance and sparkle. Its pale blue hue evokes the clarity of tropical waters, shimmering with light as it dances across the hand. The open gallery beneath the aquamarine allows light to flood in, ensuring the gem glows with vitality from every angle.
This particular treasure was purchased in Phuket on 2 August 2022 for 19,250 Baht (approx. R10,400). The ring has never been worn and comes complete with its original purchase certificate and display box.
Aquamarine, whose name comes from the Latin aqua marinus (“water of the sea”), has long been regarded as a stone of courage, clarity, and calm. Sailors of old believed it protected them on voyages and kept the seas tranquil. Today, it is cherished as the birthstone of March, symbolizing youth, serenity, and everlasting love.
