ADORABLE ALERT !!
I just couldn’t leave this quirky little gang behind! Up for grabs is a playful collection of 5x Art Deco–era circa 1920s–1930s novelty brooches, crafted in copper with hand-painted enamel details that burst with vintage charm and personality.
Each brooch is a miniature character frozen in time — a penguin, cheeky red devil, pink pig in polka dots, wide-eyed rabbit with faux pearl body, and a green “Tori bird” in a yellow hat. These were made in Spain during the interwar years, a period when whimsical figural jewellery became a way to express joy and humour after World War I.
They’re not just cute — they’re scarce survivors of early European novelty jewellery, still in amazing condition for their age! Similar examples are known to sell between $38 (≈ R650) and $46 (≈ R790) each, making this complete set an absolute treasure for any collector of early enamel or figural brooches.
Measurements : Approx 2cm in length each
