This captivating strand is composed of perfectly round porcelain beads, each hand-decorated in classic cobalt-blue over white glaze — a timeless palette inspired by traditional Chinese ceramics.
Adorning the beads are two auspicious symbols: the "Shou" (寿) character, representing longevity, and the "Fu" (福) character, signifying blessings and good fortune. These revered motifs have been cherished in Chinese culture for centuries, often used in art and jewelry to invoke a life of happiness, prosperity, and enduring health.
The beads are individually knotted on deep blue silk thread, a luxurious and practical technique that enhances both the necklace’s durability and its graceful drape. The silky thread provides soft spacing between each bead, allowing the intricate symbols to stand out with elegance and clarity.
Finishing the necklace is a gleaming gold-plated push-in clasp, decorated with an ornate oriental-style filigree disc — an elegant nod to traditional Chinese metalwork.
