The most gorgeous Sterling Silver late 19th century Arts and Crafts / Art Nouveau era neckpiece.The hammered/textured pendant of stylised shield shape,bezel/tube set with a Round Mabé Pearl in the centre and articulated Matrix Turquoise bead drop at the bottom.
The necklace is furthermore adorned with 4x hammered/textured shield shaped accents with articulated Matrix Turquoise beads (2 on each side) jointed by chain.
Similar ones online ( not as beatiful as this one ) are selling for between R7500 and R16 000.

The Arts & Crafts Movement developed in Britain in the mid to late Victorian period and lasted well into the 20th century. The Movement got its name from an English organization called the Arts & Crafts Exhibition Society that began in 1887. Arts & Crafts spread across the Atlantic to the United States in the 1890s, where it persisted at least into the 1920s and 30s.
