What a wonderfully romantic little piece of British royal history! This antique Edwardian-era heart-shaped fob pendant features miniature photographic portraits of King Edward VII and Queen Alexandra, one displayed on either side beneath protective glass.

The tiny photographs are framed within a beautifully simple brass heart-shaped mount, complete with its original suspension loop — designed to be worn from a watch chain, fob chain or necklace.

King Edward VII reigned from 1901 until 1910, with Queen Alexandra as his consort, and commemorative jewellery bearing their portraits became popular during the Edwardian period. The HEART shape makes this example particularly charming — part royal souvenir, part sentimental keepsake.
