Crafted in 800 silver, the buckle features those unmistakable flowing, organic curves of the Art Nouveau period, creating an almost heart-like symmetrical design. Set across the sweeping silverwork are four oval faceted amethysts, each beautifully bezel/tube-set and glowing in rich shades of violet and purple.

Hallmarked with the German Crescent Moon & Crown silver mark alongside its fineness mark — the national hallmarking system introduced in the late 19th century. The substantial scale and bold flowing design place it beautifully within the Art Nouveau aesthetic of the late Victorian/Edwardian period.
