FOR THEM BOYS — 1956 South African Coin Ring.

Artisan Made | .500 Silver | South African History.

Bold. Rugged. Pure treasure-hunter style.

This fantastic artisan-made coin ring has been crafted from an authentic South African 2½ Shilling coin dated 1956, struck in .500 silver during the Union of South Africa era.

Rather than being melted down, the coin has been carefully shaped into a wearable band, preserving parts of the original coin’s design and lettering around the exterior of the ring.

Most notably, the band still displays the historic bilingual inscription:
“SUID-AFRIKA • SOUTH AFRICA”

— a wonderful detail that instantly reveals the coin’s origin and adds a strong sense of history to the piece.

The original reeded coin edge remains visible along the rim, another subtle feature that reminds you this ring once circulated as real currency before being transformed into wearable art.

When worn, the ring has a solid, masculine presence — wide, weighty, and packed with character.

Measurements : The ring measures as a size S as per ring measure stick and 1cm wide. The ring with a weight of 10.6 grams
