It was created by the highly esteemed London jewelers Hunt & Roskell, who were renowned for their exceptional craftsmanship and held the prestigious royal warrant of Queen Victoria.
The necklace is designed as a collar style with intricate floral motifs composed of lustrous cultured pearls and sparkling old rose-cut diamonds.
The central flower design is larger, flanked by smaller floral clusters on either side, creating a balanced and elegant aesthetic.
The necklace is composed of finely crafted gold links with a solid, luxurious feel.
The clasp is a push-in box clasp, ensuring secure wear while maintaining the design's seamlessness.
A hidden bail/hook is discreetly placed at the back, allowing for the addition of a pendant to customize its look.
Over her lifetime, the necklace has been modified with additional hallmarked gold curb links at the clasp, extending its length slightly for improved comfort and fit.
