WOW!!!! This necklace is pure theatre, drama and old-world romance wrapped into one spectacular statement jewel! Although a costume piece, the level of detail and craftsmanship is fabulous — this is jewellery designed to be noticed.

Inspired by the elaborate jewels of the Victorian Gothic Revival, the necklace has been created as an extravagant multi-strand draped collar, with numerous fine chains sweeping across the décolletage and meeting at richly decorated connecting elements. The result is beautifully architectural yet wonderfully fluid, with each strand moving independently as the necklace is worn.
At its heart sits an elaborate openwork floral-style medallion, heavily embellished with sparkling Swarovski crystal rhinestones and genuine freshwater brown pearls. The warm chocolate-bronze lustre of the pearls is absolutely gorgeous against the deliberately darkened, antiqued bronze-tone metalwork.

Throughout the necklace are masses of individually set Swarovski crystals in a wonderful mixture of Aurora Borealis, clear and warm golden tones. The AB crystals are particularly magical, flashing little rainbow colours of gold, green, blue and amber whenever they catch the light.

Scattered freshwater pearls soften all that sparkle and give the necklace an almost decadent antique-jewel appearance.

From the central medallion hangs an articulated crystal-set drop, providing that final touch of Victorian drama and movement. Even the smaller junctions and upper sections have been treated as miniature jewels in their own right, with floral clusters, crystal-set elongated links and pearl details continuing throughout the design.

The necklace is finished with a decorative shepherd's-hook style clasp and extension chain, allowing the length to be adjusted depending on how closely you want the collar to sit.
