The mask has a highly geometric, angular design, with a prominent elongated nose and stylized mouth that evoke ancient ceremonial imagery.

The “eyes” are set with deep blue cabochons of lapis lazuli, their rich ultramarine tones adding intensity and mystique. At each side of the face, bezel-set cabochons of greenish-blue chrysocolla rest in ornate silver beaded frames, resembling ear ornaments or ceremonial earrings — a detail often seen in pre-Columbian depictions of nobility and deities.

Suspending the pendant is a series of rectangular silver panels inlaid with reddish-orange coral.
