The dangling spoons were thought to reflect evil away from the wearer. Decorated circular design mount with suspended circles and filigree work The brooch is hallmarked 830S with the letters "LJH" for Leif Johan Hansen. Leif Johan Hansen lived from 1911 - 1977. He handcrafted jewelry from 1948 - 1977 in Bergen, Norway.
