A magical little time capsule from the era when travel was an event, postcards were sent home, and souvenirs were proudly worn on the wrist.

This is a vintage Swiss / European souvenir charm bracelet, crafted in warm-toned brass with a classic, chunky curb link chain. Suspended all around the bracelet are a series of enamelled shield charms — each one like a tiny heraldic badge, representing regions, towns, and coats of arms.

These types of bracelets were hugely popular in the mid-century travel boom (1940s–1970s), when Switzerland and Europe became dream destinations for holidaymakers. Tourists would often collect shield charms as they travelled from place to place — almost like wearable passport stamps.

The Charms (Shields & Regions):
The bracelet features a beautiful assortment of traditional shield designs, including:

*Switzerland – the iconic white cross on a red shield (the ultimate Swiss symbol).
*Bern (Berne) – the famous bear emblem, one of the most recognisable Swiss coats of arms.
