Wonderfully nostalgic and generously sized! This beautiful circa 1950s oval locket is crafted in 9CT METAL CORE, giving it that gorgeous rich gold appearance while retaining the strength of its underlying metal core.

The front is beautifully decorated with hand-engraved scrolling foliate motifs, sweeping across the polished surface in wonderfully typical mid-century fashion. I especially love the untouched diagonal panel through the centre — originally intended as a space for personal initials or further engraving.

Open her up and, wonderfully, the original interior is still intact, with both oval photograph compartments and their blue protective inserts still present — ready to hold photographs or tiny sentimental keepsakes of your own.
